General Personality:
A man of his own honour, a man who believes in good form, it is Killian Jones, who is also known as the fearsome Captain Hook. He has his own fierce reputation built throughout all the realms. A man who used to go by Captain Jones, he'd changed even further (after his brother, Liam's death) due to the loss of Milah; a wrath evilly bestowed by Rumplestiltskin. Ever since, he's been hellbent on getting his revenge against the cowardly monster for killing the one person he could have had a long life with.
Despite his heavy desire for that revenge, he is, simply put, a pirate, the Captain of the fastest ship in all the realms. Killian values The Jolly Roger more than anything - it's been his home for centuries, it's been his foundation, his true anchor. Even through his darkened heart, he truly cherishes this ship more than anything, even if it harbours the painful memories of Liam dying in the Captain's Quarters, or Milah dying in his arms on the main deck. It takes a full circle in the end, these distant, yet vivid memories, reminding him of his the morals and goals he has to follow and achieve.
Killian, like any pirate captain, is arrogant, confident, cocky, and of course, flirtatious when it comes to it. But also make no mistake, he speaks with intelligence, with the wisdom in his eyes, with a sense of eloquence, all from his previous studies from being in the Navy. Besides that, his sense of humor differentiates from many; dark. But even with said dark humor, he's a charming man who knows how to also tell a good story, being a previous Navy Lieutenant and a captain who's gone on many adventures. When in land, with the company of his crew and the women at the taverns who he makes short company with, he's able to tell good tales.
He does not back down from a fight when challenged, and though his honor is what he personally enforces upon himself and on the ship, Killian does not hesitate in terms of killing and tormenting where required. Being a pirate, one can expect him to be deceitful and to lie when he needs to get to what he wants.

History: [Below.]
Fairy Tale History:
Following the abandonment of his father, Killian grows up into entering the Navy when he gets of age to follow behind his brother, Liam Jones. When Killian and his brother are ordered by the King to go secure and extract a plant that could cure any illness, it meant them traveling off to another realm; Neverland. During this trip, they meet a boy called Pan, and find the plant, and when Killian decided to heed the warning and be wary of the plant's true capabilities, Liam tried to prove his younger brother wrong. When there was one way of saving Liam from the poison, distraught Killian took it and saved his older brother, only not knowing the price was his brother's actual death when they returned to The Jewel of the Realm. This upturn turned him and the remaining crew into pirates who followed their own code of honor, renaming the ship to The Jolly Roger, and him, Killian Jones, who became the new Captain Jones.
Later after making himself more renowned in the Enchanted Forest, he had docked into a village and spent a night at a tavern, ultimately befriending a woman, Milah. It turned out she was a married woman, but Killian had fallen in love with her and she desired for the sea and adventure, but when Rumplestiltskin came to find her, he decided not to fight. Years later, he returned as the Dark One. His wrath was ultimately the inevitable, while Killian got tied against the mast before Milah died in his arms from a crushed heart, confessing her love, also then having lost his left hand (which got replaced with a hook). It's when he vowed to get his revenge on the Crocodile, a name given to Rumple because of his scaly skin.
With the magic bean he still had a hold of after the battle with Rumplestiltskin, they headed for Neverland. A long while later, Neverland having it's own skewed sense of time, he had met Baelfire, Milah and Rumple's son, and took him aboard. Through told stories of the truth and time spent together, Baelfire had eventually refused Hook's offer of staying on the Jolly after discovering a drawing of Milah, despite Hook's desire to treat him like his own son, to raise him himself. In the end, Bae had only reminded Hook to chase after the one thing that only mattered, his revenge.
Eventually, while trekking about in Neverland, he'd made a...less than pleasant encounter with Lady Tinkerbell after she'd knocked his first mate, Smee, out. He wanted magic, pixie dust, to get off Neverland so he could finally enact his revenge against the Crocodile, but unfortunately, she'd been out.
During the times he spent in Neverland, there'd been trips to there and back to the Enchanted Forest. Many under Pan's dealings. Hook had known better than to mess with that demon of a child. Once, there was a mermaid which was leading them toward rocks, but in the end they had been spared, only to learn that her name was Ursula and that she had the voice to be used for good. They struck a deal of letting her aboard the ship in exchange for squid ink which could be used to destroy Rumplestilstkin. But when King Poseidon figured out the plan, he'd told Hook to steal Ursula's voice in order to return it, but Hook had been loyal and decided against it. Well, that was until Ursula stormed up and Poseidon stole back the squid ink, leaving Hook to impulsively betraying Ursula. When Poseidon demanded for the shell back, Hook refused and told him to get off of his ship or he'd throw it into the sea so they'd never see it again.
When Hook had finally been able to leave Neverland, he'd gone to gather information from one of the Evil Queen's captives, Belle. Unfortunately, she had proved to be useless so he attempted to kill her, but Regina stopped him and made a deal that if he could kill off her mother, Cora, she'd help him destroy the Crocodile. When he'd been unable to rip out Cora's heart, he'd been demanded to tell the truth, which then Cora had offered her own help, which he decided to side with her so he wouldn't get caught up in the curse of losing his memories.
Since he'd been inside the shielded zone thanks to Cora, his only goal was finding a way into the Land Without Magic.
