Lilith drove a "borrowed" old busted up blue and white Plymouth Road Runner; it's engine alternating between roaring and sputtering. She thought maybe she should be concerned by that, but, to be perfectly honest, she didn't give a rat's ass about the car, just so long as it got her to her destination. Her dark brown hair hung loosely around the shoulders of a forest green jacket, only hinting at the white t-shirt she wore underneath. The blue jeans she had on were faded and ripped at the knee, but they were comfortable and still did their job adequately; plus, what with rent at the crappy hole she'd been living at and even crappier wages made at her part time job, she didn't have the funds for new clothes.
However, she was right; the residual magic from the egg shard around her neck was sufficient enough to let her pass the barrier into Storybrooke. It took a bit of driving to actually reach the town, but she had seen the Welcome to Storybrooke sign as clear as day, so she knew she was at the right place. The town itself was remarkably picturesque; it put her in mind of a postcard. The word 'charming' came up, but it only made the grip on her steering wheel tighten until her knuckles were blanched.
Making her way into the heart of the town, she noticed names of establishments, such as the Dark Star Pharmacy, Any Given Sundae, Mr. Gold's Pawn Shop, and the Rabbit Hole. She smirked at the name. She certainly felt like Alice right now, completely baffled by the sheer perfectness of the town. It was almost creepy; the people waved to her with friendly smiles as if they were old friends, stopping on the street to say hello to each other because they were old friends. What had she gotten herself into?
She stopped her car outside a diner marked Granny's and hopped out. Her stomach growled loudly, reminding her that she had skipped breakfast that morning, so she walked in and sat down at the bar. She took a quick glance over the menu, wondering what was good and if anyone here knew where she could find Snow White and Prince Charming or, more importantly, Maleficent. When she decided all she could afford was a grilled cheese and some coffee, she set the menu down and glanced around at the other patrons.
