Heaven ablaze in our eyes We're standing still in time The blood on our hands is the wine, We offer as sacrifice Come on, and show them your love, Rip out the wings of a butterfly, For your soul, my love, Rip out the wings of a butterfly, For your soul, This endless mercy mile, We're crawling side by side, With hell freezing over in our eyes, Gods kneel before our crime
It hadn't been a long time since the whole… well confession and while Slightly knew Nibs extremely well, Oliver and Isaac was a whole new story. After all, Ollie didn't remember him or their time in Neverland, while he did. However, he was different, and Nibs was a little bit different as well. He wasn't as happy here, Isaac had noted. And it was really hard for Isaac to keep the whole 'I know you super well, for like hundreds of years except not because time didn't move there' a secret, but that was probably a good idea on his part. After all, there were others who remembered things, and he didn't want to become a target or used by assholes for their own purposes. The faster Oliver remembered Nibs, the happier Isaac would be. But for now, he was happier than he had ever been given the whole kiss that happened. That meant they were totally together but… he hadn't seen Ollie since.
And so, Isaac started planning stuff so he could see Oliver again. The best bet to find him? His workplace. He was sure his boss wouldn't mind too much. Hopefully. The two boys together didn't make much money. Like, a janitor at the hospital didn't get paid all that much and it was full of sick people. He hoped he didn't get sick and die. Ah well, he had things to do. And he had made just enough extra money to buy a little something and try to assuage the awkward new togetherness thing. So, that's why Isaac made his way to the flower shop, the very same one that Oliver worked in.
Isaac grinned from ear to ear and turned towards the flowers the instant he entered so he didn't see those inside, even though he had a very good feeling that his best friend was working there right now. "Hey, I'm looking for something for my boyfriend. Got any suggestions?" That worked perfectly. Hopefully. Oh god, did he mess up? No. Hold on. You can do it Slightly. Just do it and relax. He took a deep breath and bent down to look at a cactus.

THEY CALLED ME CRAZY
so I played along Oliver's day had been going rather blandly thus far. He'd been doing the same thing he'd done every day since the day that Isaac had saved him from that magic lunatic and well... They'd basically made out. It was... the most incredible flood of feelings. Now, however, he wasn't even sure where they stood. He hadn't seen Isaac at all since then. Maybe he was just standing him up again. He obviously had a habit of doing that.
His thoughts were cut off when the object of them actually entered through the doors of the shop, immediately casting out all the doubt he was feeling beforehand. Though he didn't seem to pay any mind to Oliver, he wondered if he knew he'd be working and this was just some kind of cute act of ignoring him. Some type of flirting. Oliver casually leaned over the counter as he watched him walk over to the flowers. A small grin crept up on his face, and he wondered if he was supposed to greet him. Before he even got the chance, Isaac had been the one to speak up first. His smile immediately dropped.
Oliver furrowed his brows, jealousy kicking in. He was far too new at this, and for some reason it didn't dawn in his mind that he could have possibly meant him. Instead, he'd just assumed this was his subtle way of trying to break it to Oliver that he was taken. Obviously, Isaac just wanted some lip action on the side. "Well there is one flower I think would be perfect for him." Luckily, magic was keeping an unlikely flower quite alive in this little shop. Quickly, he scattered to the back to return with the monstrosity. He set the flower on the counter with a straight face. "Amorphophallus titanum." He narrowed his eyes at the handsome being in front of him. It was a tiny, not anywhere near full grown flower considering how massive it had the tendency to get. "Also known as the corpse flower. Think he'll like it?" He gave him a smirk filled with a little too much attitude. He really... really liked this guy, and he felt as though he was being toyed with.
