feel the light shining in the dark of the night | Sneaky sneaky Aria. She was good at escaping from the insane asylum, or so she thought that she was one of the best, even if this was the first time she had been out for a long long time, and the last time it was when they let her out and someone was watching her every second of the day. But now she was free and able to run around and play and have fun as much as she wanted. She would go back, she planned to, but for now she just wanted to enjoy the sun and the beach and the sand and the water and all the people and oh, it was just so fun. Wendy took off her shoes and stood where the waves would lap onto her feet, her toes digging into the sand and the wind flowing through her hair. It had been so long since she felt like this. Actually, she felt like it was familiar, the air and the sand, and for some reason she thought she was going to be dragged to a cage and locked up and a guy… oh right, that's probably because she was kidnapped by that really nice guy. The doctors said it was just her having flashbacks to a traumatic experience, but Wendy thought that it wasn't really traumatic, because she had a lot of fun with the guy and the boys he would bring around. They would dance and make fires and play ring around the rosie while she watched from her cage and sometimes she was so lucky she got to join in the dancing. Either way, she hadn't ever done this that she remembered, her feet barely in the ocean, dug into the wet sand, the sand getting between her toes and tickling them making a funny feeling. Wendy sighed and wished she could do this more often. She sat down, despite the fact her rear-end would get wet and just stared off into the horizon wondering why she had to be locked up with those nice people, but unable to come do this any time she wanted… she just wanted to be free.
