Name: Mary Margaret Blanchard
Fairy Tale Name: Snow White
Fairy Tale Story: Snow White and the Seven Dwarves
Age: 32?
Gender: Female
Sexuality: heterosexual
Face Claim: Ginnifer Goodwin
Strengths:
Her power of speeches in tense situations, archery marksmanship (though does not remember), talking people out of doing the wrong things, being able to steal things from her days of hiding in the forest (again does not remember). Honest, and kind. Always willing to help someone even those who don't necessarily "deserve" it in the eyes of others.
Weaknesses: Over protective at times, too trusting, over thinking things, easily emotionally upset. Children.
Likes: Children, Hot cocoa with cinnamon, David Nolan (Charming), a good book. Her friends, Telling stories.
Dislikes: How she was treated by Regina when Regina just wanted to hunt her down to hurt her. Conflict (especially with people closest to her.), Dishonesty and betrayal. Feeling unimportant & unloved, being alone.
Fear(s): Seeing one of her students hurt. Dying alone (though she will never cop to it.)
Magical Power(s): Unless it's counted her ability to be extremely kind to all, she has no magical powers.
Desire(s): To be with David even though she knows it's wrong since he's married to someone else.
Personality: Through the years it's become quite obvious that she's not one to be messed with. She is quick not only on her feet but with her wit and can easily get herself out of any mess she gets herself into. Now that also means she can be quite argumentative and stubborn when getting into sticky situations. It is then that the temper she tries to reign in will show. But this isn't to say that she can't give a man a run for his money, as she did it so many times in the Enchanted Forest, quite literally. To those she loves and cares for, she's still the sweethearted, strong willed self but also a fierce loving and caring friend, daughter, wife and mother. Although she does not fear running into battle she does worry about going into it alone, which is a fear that never goes away.
But while she can be strong and self assured, she is also sometimes easy to break once you get past the anger and that is a dangerous combination. Which is something that Regina has succeeded in doing more than once. However just because she has broken down once does not mean she won't once again rear her head and hold it higher than before. And to unleash a battle cry that is louder and more fierce than ever before.
But while that's one side of who she is, there is another side that is a bit more timid and apologizes more frequently than the average human should. Even in the midst of the tense situations she carries a smile that is warm and caring enough that makes even her pale face beam brightly. She is also not one to turn away someone who needs help. Like when Henry asked her to bail Emma out of jail who was in there on false accusation. She trusted her instincts, and when it felt right she trusted it. When worried or excited she will ramble until she is exhausted or leaves the other person completely dumbfounded. In any event she is quite a loving soul and will do anything for those that she sees deserves it.
Family: Emma Swan - Daughter - Alive- 28 - She had to give her daughter up before the curse was cast although she feels now that there's a bond between them that she cannot understand she does not realize that Emma is her flesh and blood. Though she still sees the woman as family.
David Nolan (Prince Charming)-(Husband) The man she's having an affair with - Alive - 30's- In the Enchanted forest he was her husband but because of the curse he's now married to Kathryn Nolan and therefore unavailable, though the two cannot explain the bond they have with one another and do have an ongoing affair.
Henry Mills-Grandson- Alive- 11- He's Emma's son though she gave him up for adoption when he was born. She has no idea that the two of them are related though he's one of her favorite pupils in class.
Regina Mills-Step Mother-Alive-30's?-Let's see in the Enchanted Forest she married into the family by marrying her father. However here in Storybrooke she is simply the Mayor of this quaint little town they live in and therefore she runs into her quite a bit. History:After she awakes in the new land, she becomes Mary Margaret, forgetting everything she knew in her old life. She now was a timid and soft spoken school teacher in a quiet little town of Storybrooke. One day she begins to teach her students to make bird houses, and tells the children how they are not only building a bird house but a home not a cage. When the class ends, the mayor of the town Regina Mills comes in to take her to the hospital to look at an unidentified John Doe. Of course she does not realize who the man is. But brightly told Regina that she was sure that perhaps someone who loved him will find him someday.
From that moment on she spends time and visits the John Doe. Though she also volunteered at the children's ward where she is given a chance to hold Regina's newly adopted son Henry, whom she grew fond of as though she had some sort of connection with. When Henry is old enough she becomes his teacher. One morning she finds a mysterious fairy tale story book while cleaning out her bedroom closet and brings it with her to school. During her lunch break she approaches Henry to ask why he hasn't been turning in his homework lately, and sees the boy in a saddened mood. She assures him that things will get better if he believes that it will. And gives him the storybook, and allows him to keep it, and states to him how even believing in the possibility of a happy ending is a powerful thing. After class is over she is surprised by a visit from Regina and another woman named Emma, who is Henry's birth mom. She is accused of helping Henry get his birth mother into town by giving him a credit card. Which she checks her wallet and realizes one of them is missing and then goes to realize that Henry had stolen it. She also is yelled at for giving him the fairytale book. To which she reminds his adopted mother that Henry is special and that Regina needs to let his imagination soar. It makes Regina upset and she storms off, which gives her a moment to tell Emma about the need for the book so he can have hopes for a happy ending. And for her to seek Henry out who is missing, but that he would be at his playground castle.
Several days pass, and it's while on the grounds that she sees Emma walking Henry to class, and it's after speaking to Emma later that she confides that Henry thinks she is from his story book, Snow White and asks Emma which fairy tale character Henry thought she was, and Emma replies that she's not in the Book. When Emma is arrested for "stealing" from Archie Hopper's office, she comes to the sheriff's office with Henry to bail Emma out. Although she couldn't explain why she trusted her gut and felt a connection with Emma. Which is why she did what she did to help the woman. This would not be the first time she would help Emma.
After a horrible date with Dr. Whale, she noticed Emma sleeping in her car after Regina kicked her out of Granny's. And so she offers to give Emma a spare apartment room. Which Emma initially refuses because she isn't a roommate type. So she let's it go. During another volunteer day at the hospital, with her students, she notices that Henry is sitting with John Doe. She tells the boy about his situation and soon they leave his room altogether. She learns from Emma that Henry believes John Doe is Prince Charming and that she's supposed to be Snow White. Emma suggests that she reads the Snow White fairy tale to John Doe. To play along with Henry's idea that he'll realize on his own that the fairy tales in his book are not real. And that they would meet at the diner tomorrow for a full report. So she does what Emma suggests. It's while reading to him that John Doe who is still unconscious grabs her hand. She is shocked but manages to summon Dr. Whale who denies it. Said that nothing had changed and that she's simply imagining things since he saw nothing out of the ordinary.
That next morning, as elated as she could be, blurts out to both Emma and Henry what had occurred with John Doe. They rush back to the hospital where it's discovered that John Doe got up and disappeared that previous night. The surveillance footage shows the man wandered out to the forest. So the three of them took off to the trail that leads to the woods. They find John Doe there but he's unconscious and not breathing. Which leaves her with no choice but to give the man mouth to mouth resuscitation. The man thanks her and the four of them go back to the hospital. When they arrive, she meets a woman named Kathryn who reveals herself to be John Doe's (David Nolan's) wife. While initially happy for the both of them she felt also confused and hurt though she couldn't understand why.
A few days later she and Emma have a talk about how she did not want to get involved with a married man, she tells Emma how she thinks she should leave her work at the hospital when David approaches her and asks to escort him on a walk. As it is to start his physical therapy. While on the stroll he tells her something that blows her mind. How nothing in this world felt right to him except her. Which made no sense. Though he did admit that he lied to his wife, about his old life, to spare her feelings. When Kathryn interrupts their talk, she leaves and without promise to see him again and resigns from the hospital.
The night that David is discharged from the hospital, a homecoming party was being held at his home, but she does not attend. It is that night that David leaves the party early and comes to find her, to tell her that he wanted her, not Kathryn. She doesn't know what to do, but tries to avoid it. But begins to talk to Emma about how hard it is not to feel so guilty about the growing attraction she has seen between herself and David. Especially, considering how nice Kathryn is. Emma of course tells her to trust her instincts, if it felt wrong it probably is. And Regina confronts her about it too, how many lives she would destroy if she tried to get between Kathryn and David's marriage. All by one simple action.
If that's not enough by the time David comes to her again that she is upset with him because he left his wife. Though he asks her to meet him at the Toll Bridge at eight o'clock. Though this time once again she goes to Emma for advice but all Emma could say was to meet him. She does, and is heartbroken when he announces to her that he remembers everything of his old life and wants to go back to his wife and to try to patch things up with her. She is more angry than sad but runs from him. Unable to face him now.
Though after the actions that night, she receives bright yellow flowers from him, which Emma then throws away who believes they came from Graham. Though by judging how Emma reacted to the flowers it is evident that Emma had feelings for Graham. After class dismissal later that day Graham came up to her and asks, though oddly, if he has ever hurt her and the two discover that they cannot even remember when they met or how. Fairy Tale History: Queen Eva and King Leopold welcomed their young daughter into the world in the harshest of winters. The bouncing happy girl was adorned by all who knew her. She brought happiness into the castle especially in the eyes of her two loving parents. She would have had that loving atmosphere whether or not she was a princess or not. But as such she was treated like any other child would. To be shown things that would make her a fair and just ruler as she grew older. By the time she was ten and was going to be presented to the kingdom, on her birthday things took a turn for the worst. It was here where she suffered her first real taste of tragedy.
Queen Eva was with her as they were discussing the ball, which was in her eyes to honor her because of her birthday, but she instantly snapped at Johanna who was trying on the tiara that was to be hers. And her mother did not take that tone lightly and reprimanded the young girl. Explaining that they were no different than Johanna was. That they are to treat them with kindness and love the way that they treat eachother. That each subject in the kingdom is supposed to be treated with love and respect the way that she would want to be treated in kind. She apologized of course, for her actions but she learned that lesson quickly. To which Johanna handed her mother the tiara and it is placed upon the young girl's head.
But while that view of the tiara upon her head was brilliant, it wasn't to last as her mother quickly collapsed. She stayed with her mother while Johanna rushed to get the doctor. She told her mother she didn't want the party. That they could post pone it till her mother was well, but her mother refused. Said the party must go on. She would see something she never wanted to see, her mother, who was strong and resilient coughing up blood. It is this that caused her to be scared even more. She was distressed. She knew she had to do something so while the doctors were tending to her mother she took off to visit the blue fairy who she knew could help. Once she gets to where she needed to be to talk to the fairy, she didn't even have a chance to wish upon the star as the fairy appeared. Unaware that the blue fairy wasn't herself (namely Cora in disguise) the blue fairy offered her only choice. To use a dark candle which was dark magic to trade her mother's life for that of another. So that someone else would die from the disease and not her mother. And she just didn't have it in her to hurt others like that so she turned it down. She returned to her mother, telling her that she had a chance to save her but was too weak to do it. And her mother of course stated that she wasn't weak but strong. And that the Queen always be with her so long as she had that goodness in her heart. She then passed peacefully into the night. Leaving her to sob unable to process why her mother had to die. Why they couldn't have saved her.
The memorial service was something she did not want to attend. No matter how beautiful they tried to make it. It broke her heart just as much as the sobs echoed in her head from the night her mother died. But of course that was nothing compared to the feeling that hit when the tiara that her mother had given her had been placed upon her head as she had been wearing a black dress. The idea of going to this was distressing, even for an ordinary ten year old. It was something that she would never forget. After the memorial she and her father would travel the world, unable to stay in that place for long. As it hurt the father daughter duo to stay.
Years would pass before life took another unexpected turn. One day her horse went out of control, causing the young girl to panic. She couldn't get the horse to stop and was afraid of what would happen. A young woman by the name of Regina happened to witness her plight and ended up saving her life. As a result she went home and told her father what the young woman had done, sparing her life. The king proposed. Regina accepted, although it would later become clear she did not love the king. But instead loved another (Daniel, a stable boy.) The young girl promised to keep that a secret. But when Cora, Regina's mother expressed that she wanted to see her daughter happy, the young girl thought it was the only way to keep the mother-daughter together and so she spilled what she knew about Daniel. Unknowing that Cora would use it to murder Daniel and force Regina to do what she wanted, which was to become queen.
Sometime later Regina was trying on a wedding gown and having it altered and unknowingly the ten year old thought it was because she was getting married to Daniel, unaware that he was no longer living. She made the comment of how she knew that Cora would be supportive, which had puzzled Regina momentarily. Regina explained that Daniel had run away and that the dress was not for him but for her father. For the king. The young girl also was playing with a necklace from the older woman's jewelry box, adorning it. The young girl was pleased that things worked out like they should have. Excited to have a stepmom. She soon departed the room after that particular comment unaware of how Regina had felt.
After the wedding, it was evident that things had changed between herself and Regina. She tried to be a good child, to be a good girl. Her father still adored her, but it was different. One day there was a friend of her father's who visited the castle. He was a former genie from Agrabah. It was a few days after his initial visit that her father tragically was found murdered in his bed. Killed by the viper from Agrabah. And his friend that was from Agrabah was no where to be found. Words could not express the sadness inside her when her father was discovered in that way. Losing one parent was hard, losing both was unfathomable. But it had happened.
Once her father had been laid to rest, Regina tried to console her, but despite the affection that seemed present she knew that Regina wanted to get rid of her too. She could sense it. Especially when one day a man came to visit her. "The Huntsman" tried to kill her, and when she had hit him with the bag of apples it gave her enough time to pen down a goodbye letter to Regina as she had intended to end her own life to keep Regina from being able to do so.
When the Huntsman read the words she had written found it difficult to complete his task against Regina's direct order. He let her go. And she would never forget the kindness that she was given by him as a result. She then departs and knows she cannot turn back. It's during one of her visits to a local village that she seeks shelter there, as she can only run for so long. During this time she goes inside a chicken coup to avoid a howling beast that she heard nearby. By the time dawn arose however things seemed to be bleak if only momentarily as she was caught by a young woman. Instead of being upset the woman introduced herself as "Red" and offers her a place to stay. Unsure whether it was a good idea to give her real name out, she gives the woman the name Mary so as not to raise suspicion.
She is then introduced to Granny, who is Red's grandmother. Things looked good, better than any other place she'd been in a while. It was almost a normal life for a while until Red spoke about Peter and her love for him. She would go so far as to help Red hide from her grandmother so she and Peter could meet without her grandmother knowing. It wasn't until the elderly woman came in to close the windows that it occurred to her that Red was gone and without the cloak. She would tell Granny what she knew about Peter being the wolf, but then it was revealed that Red was the wolf and not him. But that the red cloak was enchanted to stop her from turning at night. One would think that would be sufficient enough to end the new budding friendship, but it wasn't to be. But it did not stop her from wanting to be friend's with the girl. Because she was good at heart, something the young woman could see with an open mind. But before she and Granny got to Peter in time, Red had killed him in her wolf form. Once the cloak was laid over her however Red returned to normal. Though it didn't last long as it dawned on her what she did to her true love. Granny then forced the two young women to run to keep Red's secret.
This was to be the first but not the only time that she was to run. But she was taking herself out of the life she once knew as a princess. She became a bandit. Something that would cause her to be wanted by the Queen because of her treason and the false accusations that she was the one who murdered her own father. The treason accusation didn't anger her near as much as the accusation that she had killed her own father. As she had loved that man more than life itself. It was after she and Red had split up that she had decided to save up enough money to leave the kingdom forever. It was then that she turned her method into stealing to survive. And nothing was quite an asset like stealing from the Queen's own carriages, and all that valuables that were inside. But it was during one of those moments where she was stealing from a carriage....that it caused her to purposely knocked over a tree to block the road. The carriage however was not owned by the Queen but by another royal couple though she was unaware of that. While the others are looking at the fallen tree in order to move it, she snatched a bag of jewels before departing on horseback. But no one would have expected for anyone to follow her.
Yet she was chased by a man who wrestled her to the ground. He flipped her onto her back and notices first thing that she's a woman. Which caused him to be momentarily dazed, and uses that moment to her advantage and smashed his chin with a rock and escaped on his horse. The man while she leaves tells her that he will find her. She does escape and makes it to the makeshift home she has made for herself. He tracked her of course and she leaves and is caught by his net. It is then that he steps forward and introduces himself as "Prince James." But with her own sarcasm she dubs him as "Prince Charming." Instead of turning her over to the Evil Queen, if she can manage to return his stolen ring though it's already been sold to a bunch of trolls. She has no choice but to help him get it back. He takes her vial of fairy dust which she had been saving to use on the Queen, as the substance itself can transform any advisory into something harmless.
When he had asked why she had been wanted in the first place, she told it like it was. That she had destroyed Regina's happiness. When they pass the stream she asked to get a sip of water, but when he had allowed it, she once again clocks him and runs away. Only to be cornered by the Queen's knights. Where she has to be saved by Charming himself. And since he saved her she chose to take him to the Toll Bridge. Yet once they arrive at the bridge, the trolls after learning that she wants to bargain for the ring, have found it suspicious. On why she wanted a refund on it. It's during one of their methods where Charming's bag is gone through do they notice the wanted poster and attack him. She flees, but after noticing that he didn't get away goes back to help him. She manages to use the fairy dust on them which turns them into bugs, which cause the two of them to be able to leave safely. They make it to the intersection where they must part. She hands his ring back to him, but just as a joke tries it on for a moment telling him that it's not her style. With their agreement settled they leave in opposite directions.
One wouldn't think that the chance meeting with Prince Charming would cause her to think about it much. But she did, he lingered in her mind often. She couldn't escape the thoughts. And it's while hiding in King Midas' realm that she happens to overhear conversations from passers by that Prince Charming is set to marry. That the upcoming wedding is soon, and therefore she secludes herself in an isolated cottage which happened after an attack sent by Regina. Though the wolf pack and Red as well as the Hunstman helped her. Red brings her a basket of food and confirms what everyone's been talking about. That Charming's bride is that of King Midas' daughter, Princess Abigail.
The pain in her heart was real. As she longed for a way to forget about the man. To forget the pain that falling for him had cast. Although Red knew of a way did not tell her. It wasn't until she pressed for answers that Red told her about a man named Rumplestiltskin who could grant her desires for a price. Rumple simply wanted a lock of hair as the price, which is something she granted to him. A few days passed and she receives word from Prince Charming declaring of his love for her and asks that if she feels the same to meet him at the castle so they can run away together. While entering the castle had been as easy as breathing, she was caught and thrown into a dungeon. But in this cell she was next to a dwarf called Grumpy who explained his own tragic love story. How it too landed him in the dungeon. Another dwarf frees Grumpy and she bids goodbye to them and tells Grumpy that she hoped that he would soon find his love again. Grumpy reluctantly frees her too. While they work to escape from the dungeon itself, she suggests using the back way but the don't. They go through the front. Yet the guards find them and kill Stealthy but she manages to save Grumpy. She threatens to burn the castle if they do not leave Grumpy alone. Grumpy leaves but she is halted by King George's men. She's then forced to reject Charming's feelings knowing that King George intends to kill him if she does not. And she cannot imagine him dying simply because of what he feels. Knowing that it is a wrong thing. Because she loves him as much as he loves her. She's forced to be a skilled actress.
She goes to the prince, telling her love, how he should be with Princess Abigail who could love him the way that she could not. She leaves him and is in tears because of her own heartache. Knowing she broke his heart and her own. The seven dwarves, Grumpy included, take her into their home both out of gratitude and pity. She tried to ingest all that she is told. How having pain is part of who she is and promises to help her through the pain. Yet it does not work, as days after arriving at their cottage she soothes her own heartbreak by drinking the potion. Only moments after does Grumpy come in and tells of the Prince's canceled engagement, but she no longer remembered the man she loved so desperately. It not only erased her feelings for the man that had captured her heart but also turned her into a cold and callus person. Who had no affection for anything or anyone. The friends she has tries to save her, with the help of Jiminy Cricket but she decides instead to go after her biggest problem. The Evil Queen, to go after her and to kill her.
Even when Grumpy drug her back to Rumple, the potion could not be undone. But instead of helping Grumpy, he helps her and gives her a bow that is famed to having never missed a shot. And a map, is also given to her so that she could find the perfect spot to use this. Yet when Charming finds her, he attempts to give her true love's kiss, though it failed. She briefly knocks him out and ties him down so that she could resume her quest. Knowing the Queen was below them, it gave her the perfect chance. She readies the bow and fires it. Except Charming takes the hit instead. But something happens which surprises her when he admits that he would rather die than see her be turned evil. She kisses him willingly and returns to her normal self. The duo have a brief reunion before all hell breaks loose and Charming is captured though she promises to rescue him. She goes back to the cottage of the dwarves to apologize and get help. The Dwarves agree to help and together the eight of them go to save the man she loves. But they're not alone in their quest as Granny and Red also join the party. As well as numerous others join too, including fairies. They stage an attack on King George's castle. It's successful, but when she goes to the dungeon to rescue her love things go awry.
She discovers a fate worse than death, or so she believed when it's only a mirror image of the man she loves as he has been taken captive by the Evil Queen in order to get to her. The Queen demands they return to the place where it all began. Of course she goes, alone and unarmed as requested, knowing that her friends don't like the idea. She goes to the estate that once belonged to Regina's family, and finds her at the stables. Where the Queen then shows her Daniel's grave marker and truly explains what happened to him. How after she told Cora the truth, unlike how Regina had originally stated that Daniel had left of his own accord, when in reality that Cora came after Daniel and killed him. All because of his relationship with Regina. Yet she tries to reason with her stepmother explaining that the Queen had hurt her too by killing her father, the king. Of course that doesn't work and the Queen instead gives her an apple which had to be bitten willingly and the Queen ensures her that if she does this that her Prince Charming will not be harmed. She takes a bite and passes out. Later she's discovered by her friends.
To honor her death, the dwarves laid her in a beautiful glass coffin. While they're mourning the loss of their friend, Charming arrives and unintentionally breaks the curse with true love's kiss. Where to her friends' amazement she wakes up. She knew he'd find her. Later on she accepts his marriage proposal. It is because of this that she voices her desire to take back her kingdom. To take it from the Queen once and for all.
Together she and Charming lay down groundwork for gaining back the kingdom, and with the Evil Queen out of the way they were making progress. Though the progress is halted when they hear about King George's hit man, the Leviathan. Yet when they're attacked Charming offers to stay behind and tells her to meet him at his mother's cabin. It's only then after they separate that she's captured by the Leviathan, known as Lancelot. Who brings her to King George who gives her a gauntlet that has water that is to leave her barren. After she is let go she is furious with Lancelot, after he follows her because of his affiliation with King George.
After a duel between the two of them that she instigated, he begs her to spare his life because he too was unaware of the poison in the gauntlet. She finally agrees and together they return to Prince Charming. Yet the reunion is not a happy one when it's discovered that Charming's mother has been injured by a poisoned arrow. Ruth, Charming, and Lancelot accompany her to Lake Nostos which would allow Ruth's injuries to be healed.
Ruth shows her a necklace which would predict the gender of a woman's first child and uses it on her, in which the princess admits that nothing will happen because she's cursed to never bear children. When they realize the lake is completely dry except for a few droplets, she refuses Ruth's offer to drink the water and lift her inability to have children. In an act of sacrifice although unbeknownst to the couple, Ruth pretends to drink the water, but gives the water to Lancelot for her daughter to be. While the wound refuses to heal, it lead everyone to believe she needed more of the lake's water, but knowing she's dying all Ruth asks is to see her son marry the love of his life. During the ceremony Lancelot drops the water into the gauntlet she's supposed to drink, after she kisses her husband Charming, his mother passes away. Charming burns a candle for his mother and she tries to be there for him of course, knowing what it's like to lose a mother as she had already lost hers.
The conversation proves positive when he turns away her apology for being the last of his family but Charming only tells her that he's grateful to have her as his wife, and soon will have children of their own. She seemed more distraught when he tries to use the necklace and tests it on her. Which after the first times it happened, she didn't think anything would happen again. But miraculously the necklace swings leading her to figure out what Ruth had Lancelot do. Of course the necklace tells of a baby girl with the direction it was swinging but she wasn't about to tell Charming that just yet.
Together she and her prince wage war on not only the Evil Queen but that of King George's forces. After King George's forces fail, she lures the Evil Queen into civil conversation. Where the (real) Blue Fairy Freezes her and the war ends with her capture. When they return to the castle, and into the "war room" to discuss the Queen's fate, many voted for the Queen to die. But she was against that, mostly because of what she had done for her when she was a child. A fact that never was forgotten. Despite knowing she's outnumbered she'd try anyway. They believed death was a fitting punishment.
Yet during her execution Regina gives a farewell speech which at first sounds remorseful but then turns to a vehement declaration of how she was only sorry to have not caused more pain. At the last moment she orders her stepmother's execution to be stopped. Despite the reactions from her friends and from Charming himself, she truly believes that Regina still has some good in her. Reminding herself of the time when Regina saved her life. She proves to test her stepmother in an effort to find out whether there is good still left in her, which again fails because of who she has become. She told her stepmother, warning her that she was not to harm anyone in the kingdom ever again or death will be the sentence and that this time she wouldn't stop it.
Peace was restored though briefly. They began to reside in their castle and to hold a formal wedding ceremony since it was the proper thing to do. With all the kingdom's citizens being allowed to attend the function. The Evil Queen of course crashes the wedding and makes the night a living hell. Threatening everyone and everything they held most dear. She was not afraid and instead unsheathes her husband's sword as a threat to the Queen. Which the Queen did not even flinch as she announced her intent on getting her revenge by taking away everyone else's happiness, and destroying it limb by limb.
Nothing made her more upset than the fact that once again Regina managed to ruin something good. Namely her own wedding. She was very upset so she took off in a hurry towards the War Council Room, wanting to get something accomplished. Charming tries to get her to think otherwise and focus on their honeymoon. Which she wants to but wants to take care of their threat first. She asks her husband if they could instead go to the old Sumer Palace for their wedding. Not alluding her husband to the fact that the item they needed to stop the Evil Queen was there. Charming goes to make the preparations while Grumpy tells her that the castle has been secured so the Evil Queen can't come back. Grumpy of course voices his opinion of how it's a bad idea to leave while the Evil Queen's still a threat, but she informs him of why she wants to go. And hints that there's something at that old palace that is going to be able to help get rid of their little problem. Upon arrival at the palace in question, she sneaks away from Charming and yet he still manages to catch her. She tells her husband about there being a "being who lives in a nearby cavern that has the ability to turn whomever looks into her eyes into stone." How she wanted to cut off the head of the being in question "Medusa", and make the Evil Queen look into it as punishment. Together the newlywed couple ventures into Medusa's home, and yet their plan fails as the sword that she planned to use on the creature shattered upon contact with the woman. It's only when she realizes the Evil Queen is watching them from a mirror in a shield that is laid on the ground does she come to terms with the fact she can't let her fear (or hatred which is wrecking havoc on her own life) get the best of her and how it was better to let it go. The only way to move forward is to fight to get out and go to live another day. When Medusa charges against her she uses the shield to face Medusa who had already cast Charming into stone, to cause the monster to see herself that way so she too would be turned to stone. When she had been turned, the Prince himself was freed. It's only after they get home that she stops fretting about what the Evil Queen will do and start focusing in on a life with her husband. And that started by trying to have a baby of their own.
Sometime later the couple goes to attend a neighboring kingdom's royal wedding, of Cinderella and Prince Thomas. It's during the wedding she dances with Cinderella and praises the young woman, the princess to be, for not only changing her life but setting an example for others to follow.
A few months down the line she becomes pregnant with their first child. Yet while nearing the end of her pregnancy she couldn't help but worry about the Evil Queen's threat upon them that she had announced at their wedding. Charming did what he could to alleviate her worries by letting her speak with Rumplestiltskin who was imprisoned. She makes a deal with Rumple in exchange for information on what the Evil Queen planned to do. It scares her when he tells her, that his foresight has predicted that the Evil Queen is going to use a curse on them. That the only hope they have to break the curse is that of hers and Charming's unborn child. Whom he dubs as the "Savior" who will save everyone in twenty eight years. In return she has to give him the name of their unborn child. "Emma."
After a much needed discussion they work to formulate a plan to protect their child. The Blue Fairy tells them about the last enchanted tree in their land which can be carved into a magic wardrobe which could protect one person from the curse. The whole group decided to send her into the wardrobe while she's still pregnant into the wardrobe to another land and to wait for twenty eight years for the savior to come back and save them all. She did not like the idea of that, of leaving her husband. As time draws near, she keeps telling her husband how she did not want to part from him for twenty eight years once she goes through the wardrobe. He only tells her, and tries to reassure her that they will be reunited, that he has faith that they will. Frantic as though she had already been, she goes into contractions. Which happens just as the curse approaches.
While in labor, Charming tries to get her into the wardrobe which Doc advises against it. After their daughter is born she and Charming share a moment with their newborn daughter until it is realized that they have to get her into the wardrobe alone or all hope was lost. Saying goodbye to her baby girl was the hardest thing the young woman ever had to do. She tells her husband that he has to be the one to take Emma to the Wardrobe as she cannot do it herself. It is only later when she hobbles out of bed and finds her husband unconscious. She tries to bring him back with true love's kiss, to no avail. As at that moment the Evil Queen arrives, she tells the Evil Queen that she has lost as Emma went into the wardrobe. As the curse spreads into the room, she clutches onto her husband as the three of them are engulfed by it.
