I'm ready to burn down all the walls that I've been building up inside I wanna fly and put back all the pieces of this broken heart tonight SMASH.
Pieces of broken class went scattering across the floor, and Kaida's eyes opened wide. The coffee was flowing into all directions, having no more cup to contain it's shape. He pressed his lips together. Yeah. Well, this was just great. Not even bothering to look around to see if anyone had seen his embarrassing moment of his cup slipping out of his hands, Kai bent down and started pushing the pieces of the glass mug together. Maybe if he didn't say anything it'd look like he thought it was no big deal and like he wasn't panicking on the inside for being such a klutz.
One chunk of the sharp glass sliced his finger, and he quickly pulled back his hand with a hissing noise. He looked down at it and saw just a bit of blood began to trickle from the wound and he stuck the finger in his mouth quickly to try and get rid of the evidence of his stupidity. He pulled his finger back out and looked at it with a sigh. The bleeding hadn't quite gone away.
"Smooth as ever," he mumbled to himself the words that might have even sounded closer to a grumble. His day had actually been pretty good up to this point, and he knew he was going to have to try and keep a positive attitude. He had to be to work in about two hours, and he really didn't want to storm in and let a negative vibe effect all the animals. Dogs seemed to always change their moods the most when that happened. Kaida believed they reflected whoever they were around. The cats at his work couldn't seem to care less. They all seemed to hate him, and he had the scratch marks all over his arms to prove it.
Sighing, he went back to pushing the glass together. The blood seemed to be under control enough considering it wasn't really all that fatal to begin with. In his mind it was like this entire embarrassing scenario had been going on for ten, long minutes. In reality, it'd only been a moment.
